HostGator is awesome! Pay the extra money for their services. Their online support is always available to help if you have a problem. As soon as I had a question I went on and had an answer in under 5 seconds. HostGator has been a good host. Sure there have been some server problems, but HostGator always refunds me for downtime, and does a lot better job of letting people know what's going on than other hosts do. Unlike other hosts, you can trust HostGator. Do yourself a favor and save a lot of hassle, get an account with HostGator.

HostGator shared Web Hosting plans disk space and bandwidth has been increased significantly to allow them to compete on a more competitive level. They have also added a new plan into the mix called "hatchling." This package was designed to be a great starter plan at a cheap rate if paid by the year.
